Is this like revising a business model that once paid off but now doesn't? America did benefit in many ways from supporting/stabilizing various foreign populations that couldn't look after their own needs. Perhaps those benefits aren't worth it anymore. I can't imagine America ever helped anybody long-term solely out of compassion.
Fearmongering is really all the left has left, they amplify "the other" when it's the Biden and NATO failed policies, along with previous Obama and Bush policies which has ravaged the middle east and other areas. Liberals now just constantly think about other countries rather than critically thinking about the internal problems present in the US, and the real enemy continues to be the Globalists, unelected WEF and the like.
Another eye opener for us in Europe. We have depended on others to sort out defence and world order. Using our wealth and capabilities to create a comfort blanket of social programmes. Time for change and being realistic
This is an incredibly important, and the main point, for USAID supporters to publicly blast. Appealing to the public’s empathy on deaths and disease and famine and such does no good. Most of the public and especially republicans do not care one iota about the starving masses in the southern hemisphere or middle east. They have been starving and dying for decades and the situation has not improved, so why keep pouring money into a sinkhole? It may be devious, but I propose we let china be the lead in Africa and see how long their largesse can be extended before they become dangerously extended economically. Belt and road is already diminished because no one is paying china back. They have a significant birth decline problem and still a vast impoverished class. The low-hanging fruit of economic growth has been accomplished; now the hard part begins with advanced technology engineering and manufacturing. Can china cover all their growth aims while dragging these anchors?
Since it is physically impossible to stop the flood of Third World irregular immigrants into Europe, and since the cessation of American money to the Third World seems likely to cease, causing this flood to increase, it looks like we're doomed. Won't those Far Right parties be surprised when they take power and find out that there is not a single thing they can do to stop mass immigration!
